You hit the nail, when you said “ACCEPT present circumstances.” From my personal experience, the key is really finding acceptance to the lemons life give us. Whatever that may be… And make the best lemonade drink we can of it. Although, how we arrive to making peace with ourselves is really a personal journey different for each one of us.
Here are 2 things that seems to work for many people:
(1.) Switching your focus to appreciate what you do have as oppose to what you lack… helps a lot.
(2.) And also, surrounding yourself with things and people that promotes more happy feelings in you minimizing stress helps ease the pain and promotes more healing opportunities.
These two techniques alone can be a possible pathway for many people to find acceptance, and uncover that stillness and peace in themselves.
It know it can be challenging at times, but when you get more and more success of finding even the tiny bit of acceptance, it is empowering… And adds more feeling of elation. Little by little, you’ll become a stronger person! (Honestly, I am still working on it too. )
I can’t really say I know exactly what you’re going through and how you feel physically or what kind of health challenges you are facing right now. The closest of a comparison I have to relate is probably my previous mood swings when I was younger and my excruciating back pain, back when I injured myself lifting weights.
I could only imagine what you’re going through.
